In 2002 Burkhard companies began expanding into the luxury condominium market in Southwest Florida. As of the fall of 2005, Burkhard companies had constructed and marketed numerous projects in Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte and Northport in Charlotte County. Additionally, the firm has several projects and approximately 450 new luxury condominium units in the preliminary and permitting stages. The strong market growth in Southwest Florida combined with our organizational design gives the Burkhard Corporation what we feel is a very competitive edge in the marketplace.

In addition, Burkhard has varied interests in hotel management, transportation and manufacturing. With hotels in Massachusetts and Connecticut, Burkhard has extensive experience in complete hotel management. In spring of 2006, Concrete Building Products, a hollow core precast concrete manufacturer began operation in Sebring, Florida providing quality concrete plank to the construction industry in central and southern Florida.
